The Congregation of Holy Cross Province of East Africa extends its sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all who honored the invitation and faithfully gathered in support of the Fundraising Dinner for the initiative “Educate a Seminarian and Religious Brother – Your Gift to the Church.” The event brought together friends, benefactors, and members of the Holy Cross family in a spirit of generosity and shared mission.
The day began with a solemn and grace-filled Holy Mass, presided over by the Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Peter Caxton Mayanja, C.S.C. The Eucharistic celebration set a profound spiritual tone for the day, reminding all present that the formation of seminarians and religious brothers is not only a responsibility but also a sacred investment in the life and future of the Church.

The gathering was graced by the presence of Holy Cross priests, the Sisters of the Holy Cross, parents and friends of Holy Cross, benefactors, and well-wishers who continue to support the mission and apostolic work of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Their presence reflected the strong sense of community and shared commitment that sustains the vocation ministry of the Church.
Through their generous contributions, encouragement, and participation, attendees helped make the fundraising dinner a meaningful success. The initiative seeks to ensure quality formation and education for seminarians and religious brothers, equipping them spiritually, intellectually, and pastorally for service in the Church and society.

Such support is a powerful expression of faith and partnership. By investing in the formation of future priests and religious brothers, benefactors help nurture leaders who will continue the Church’s mission of evangelization, education, and service to communities across the region and beyond.

The Congregation of Holy Cross remains deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by all who participated. With hearts full of appreciation, we pray that God abundantly bless each benefactor and supporter, rewarding their goodwill and sustaining them in their continued partnership with the Church’s mission.
