Our Lady Queen of Peace–Timboroa
In recent months, the Equator Outstation of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish–Timboroa has embraced a renewed pastoral outreach aimed at rekindling the flame of faith among its Christian community.
With a noticeable drop in active participation in liturgical and sacramental life, the parish priest, his vicars, and seminarians in pastoral formation have stepped forward with a heartfelt home visitation program. This initiative is more than an activity — it is a sign that the Church is alive and walking with her people.

Bringing the Church Home
Guided by their formators, the seminarians go from house to house, offering prayer, listening to the struggles of families, and encouraging them to rediscover the joy of living out their faith daily.
Each visit begins with prayer and Scripture, setting a sacred space for families to speak freely about their joys and burdens. These honest conversations reveal not just spiritual needs but also real-life challenges — economic struggles, family responsibilities, and misunderstandings about the faith.
Hope, Encouragement, and Gratitude
Though still in training, the seminarians are well-prepared to offer the parish’s gratitude for the faith people continue to hold, even when it wavers. They also share words of hope and practical guidance, helping families reconnect with the Church community.
So far, these visits have inspired many families to renew their commitment to active participation in parish life, choosing faith and hope despite the obstacles they face.
A Missionary Church in Action
The presence of the seminarians is a living reminder that the Church cares deeply and stands with her people in their daily realities. This outreach is a simple yet powerful witness to Pope Francis’ vision of a “Church that goes forth” — a Church that searches for the lost and accompanies the struggling.
For the seminarians, these visits are a profound part of their formation. They experience firsthand that priesthood is much more than celebrating Mass and sacraments — it is about being present, listening with compassion, and journeying with people when their faith needs rekindling.
Walking Together
As this program grows, Our Lady Queen of Peace–Timboroa remains a beacon of hope — a parish living out its mission to bring Christ’s love to every doorstep.
