It is a delightful moment to celebrate a new beginning. A new story has been initiated, and it will continue. A painted picture with beautiful decors of new memories and more to be added is here with us. We are happy to have a home in our new parish, St Andre’ Bessette Koch Goma Parish. This parish is situated in Northern Uganda, Gulu Archdiocese. Congregation of Holy Cross Province of East Africa accepted this parish as one of new mission. Consequently, it was inaugurated on 28th January 2024.
Beginning this new mission has gone metaphorical stages. The pioneers of this new ministry resided 35kilometres away from the parish in the beginning. As zeal is our important element, they made sure that the people received morning masses at 7am every day. It is indeed work of God and so He sustains it. One year later we got a NEW HOME. A new community house was built and so the members came closer to the people. Their patient was not in vain at all. Those 35kilometres which were covered everyday have been reduced to negligible distance.
God’s miracles continue to happen every day. God touches each of us in different and unique ways. We pass immeasurable gratitude to our benefactors and people of good will who always support our ministry assiduously. May God continue blessing you. Our new home is an enormous blessing. The ministers can reach the people easily and efficiently. The sacraments are delivered in time.
